The Matrix robot is fast and agile robot with a narrower chassis to move around the field efficiently. To increase the speed, a lighter robot was designed with quick and snappy mechanisms to maximize speed and efficiency. It has a robust drive train to avoid shocks from impact with 3 odometry pods for localization. A turret system with bearing stack was designed to rotate without rotating the drive, to score on different junctions, to reduce our cycle time for stacking on the high pole. To lift the intake mechanism at 4 different heights (ground, low, medium and high) based on the pole/junction height, a pulley system with 10 sliders for this process, which was lifted by motors providing a total torque of 2.94 Nm. It has a specialized cone intake system - Lightweight, strong and durable. The advanced design and engineering of the robot's control and power systems ensures smooth and seamless operation.
