
Eureka robot
Product Description:
The Eureka robot is designed to be well balanced and structurally stable and have low cycle time on one junction. It has a four-wheel holonomic drive with Mecanum wheels to allow strafing; enabling easier movement and less need for rotation. The Intake design consists of a gripper and an active 4-bar which is connected to a linear slider system. To support this load the 4-bar has omni wheels attached and the wiring has been redone efficiently, connected to a linkage system on the right side. The linear slider system accommodates 3 pulleys, of which two are used for extension, and one used for retraction. The robot can score a 5+1 autonomous onto a high junction without much movement to reduce load on drivers, leaving them free to analyse the rest of the field and adapt strategy during the game.
