Pressure gauges are commonly used in systems to monitor those pressures are being maintained at a safe level. It is important that all pressure gauges in the same system indicate pressure using the same units, to prevent mistakes in reading them. Sensing element of gauges may beBourdon, diaphragm, Bellows & Capsule that deflects the pointer.
Bourdon, Bellows & Capsule type gauges are recommended for Air, Water & Gaseous application.
Diaphragm Seals, also known as Chemical Seals or Gauge Isolators, are used to isolate pressure instrumentation, like pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pressure switches, level transmitters, and more from process media that is hot, corrosive, clogging, or otherwise damaging to the pressure instrument.
