Simplify Edge AI development process with NXP i.MX8M + Hailo-8™ platform
LEX SYSTEM offers two advanced ARM-based embedded solutions—NXP-HAI02 and
NXP-HAI03—both powered by the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor and integrated with the
Hailo-8™ AI accelerator, delivering up to 26 TOPS of AI performance for edge computing
applications. Each solution features 8GB LPDDR4 memory, with optional up to 256GB
eMMC storage, dual USB 3.0 ports, and Mini HDMI® output—ideal for AI workloads such
as object detection and image recognition.
The key difference lies in their I/O design. NXP-HAI02 is a compact board with industrial
I/O options like RJ45, Power Input, RS485 and digital inputs via M8 connectors, making it
ideal for vision-based edge AI in industrial environments. NXP-HAI03 offers the same
processing power but comes with a different I/O layout designed for applications needing
alternative peripheral connections. Both support a wide 9–24V DC input and operate
reliably in fanless MINI systems, making them ideal for harsh industrial environments.
