Established in 1946, Bharat Bijlee (BSE: 503960, NSE: BBL) is a pioneer in electrical engineering in India. Headquartered in Mumbai, it has extensive sales and service network across India and also serves international markets. It has two primary business segments – Power Systems and Industrial Systems. In the Industrial Systems segment comprises of Electric Motors, Drives & Automation and Magnet Technology Machines divisions. Its product portfolio spans the Industrial Automation pyramid and caters to a spectrum of applications in industries such as plastics, textile, machinery, steel, cement, railways, and construction. The company also manufactures Power Transformers for State and Private Utilities, Businesses and EPC Contractors, and undertakes turnkey projects (switchyards). The company’s manufacturing facilities are located in Navi Mumbai on a 1,70,321 sqm campus. It has modern plants for its product lines that have been certified for ISO: 9001:2015, ISO: 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards.
